The renewable energy industry is changing dramatically: the increase in renewable energy output control, the liberalization of the electricity market, and the establishment of capacity markets and supply-demand adjustment markets.
Under such circumstances, battery energy storage system contribute to maintaining the stability of the power system by recharging the surplus of power supplied by renewable energy power facilities and discharging the shortage. It can be expected making a significant contribution to the promotion of the introduction of renewable energy power facilities.
