E&E Solutions Inc. is pleased to announce the agreement of partnership with Xodus Group (Head Office: Aberdeen, UK), associated with offering a comprehensive range of technical services for offshore wind power projects in Japan.

With the enactment of the “Act to Promote Offshore Use by Offshore Renewable Energy Facilities” (Renewable Energy Offshore Use Act), Japan’s offshore wind projects are now progressing fully into the project planning stage. Offshore wind projects in Japan will have a strong focus on the development of floating offshore wind turbines, due to the deep seas around the archipelago. However, fixed-foundation turbines can be utilised where the depths of the seabed allow for this. The collaboration between the technical advisory experiences of Xodus, and the experiences of E&ES in environmental consulting, , will certainly make it possible to provide a broader range of high quality environmental and technical advisory services to the Japanese market. Xodus brings a proven track record in both fixed and floating wind in Europe while E&ES brings extensive experience in both onshore and offshore wind projects in Japan since the 1980s.
